South Jakarta Small Medium Enterprises Cooperation and Trade (KUKMP) Sub-dept. will intensify food inspection in Ramadan.
During Ramadan, food inspection will be intensified
Especially for food that contains of hazardous substances such as formalin, borax, rhodamine, and others.
South Jakarta KUKMP Sub-dept. Head, Shita Damayanti stated, her side will conduct food inspection routinely in Ramadan. Especially food in coaching location (lokbin) and temporary location (loksem).
Maritime Dept. Began to Improve Food Supervision"During Ramadan, food inspection will be intensified to check whether food contains of hazardous substance or not," she mentioned, Monday (5/14).
In this inspection, her side will cooperate with Drug and Food Control Agency (BPOM) thus residents will feel more secure.
"We will also inspect takjil (foods for breaking the fast) sellers. We will urge them to use clean, safe, and healthy ingredients," she affirmed.
